We are a diverse group. Our strength comes from engagement with multiple perspectives and using interdisciplinary approaches. If you are interested in working towards developing “useable knowledge” and being part of a community that fosters dialogue between academics and practitioners, then we encourage you to join the HWP team. We welcome practitioners from all sectors (policy makers, NGOs, journalists) and academics from all disciplines (from literature to economics). What binds us as a group is our shared vision that specialists of all fields use an understanding of the past to inform their perspective on contemporary issues.
